Ok! Well... This is a little dated. I got my Yiynova DP10U in late February. So far it's been working pretty good. I like that it runs on USB, however that gives it limited power and creates jitter fussing. The angle isn't so bad if you're only using it for line and screentone work. If you're going to do a lot of serious coloring, then I can see where it would get frustrating. You can always set it to use as a normal non-screen tablet though, and work on the computer screen.

•2/5/2013•
It's been a while... Jeeez! Sorry I've been on hiatus. Things have been chaotic and busy, but I've also got more going on in my non-digital life, so I've been pleasantly distracted.
I'd ran into a size issue with Firefly and am currently finishing up a "standard" sized version now to just avoid the whole fiasco. It's pretty much done, but I have a few final things to proof-read and then it's ready to go. The size issue isn't Ka-Blam's fault, just to be clear. I'd been helped and they'd tried a few different sizes, and the problem seems to be more of a "mistranslation" or miscalculation, since it's all in point numbers, and depending on the program, they differ. In fact I'd looked at several websites for CM to Inch conversion and they all give me different inch numbers for the same 14.8x20cm size.
My Artbook on the other hand has been out for a while. I could've sworn I'd posted a release for it, but I'd obviously spaced it out. Here's the link if you'd like to get a copy. $30 for 200 pages (184 drawings). I'm still re-working ChasingShadows, however in the meantime I'm writing its later related volumes. My main hangup is dialogue, but some of the topics discussed take a little more explaining than others, so I'm trying to find ways to explain these things in the quickest, yet most informative way possible.
Recently I've discovered the updated Yiynova screen-tablet series! I'm seriously thinking about grabbing both the 10U and 19U - of course, as I can afford them. I think it's neat that you can get both a portable and semi-portable desktop sized one for less than the price of the 12" Cintiq. Unless Cintiq updates soon with something similar at a better price, or I happen to win or be gifted one, I'm pretty sure I'll grab Yiynova... Plus I can't help but enjoy seeing a new company take off so well, by what I've been reading about their newest improvements. I was surprised to read so much fussing over problems with Wacom's Cintiq line.
... I just realized that I need to update my age on my mini-bio... I guess I'll do that now.

Just a quick message to keep you all posted.
- ChasingShadows is still in the works. I've been re-writing parts, adding, removing, etc. Another thing taking long is I keep getting more ideas to add on but then I have to go back and reference the plots to make sure they match up right. I'm actually glad I haven't finished it yet because lately I've been discovering things that make the story better than it was.
- I'm revising Firefly. I've shrunk it to A5 size and will be selling it through Ka-Blam. I'm going to discontinue the other 2 sizes. I recently ordered the 6x9 for a friend through Lulu and I was disappointed with the quality. I don't know what their problem is but their quality keeps getting weirder every time I us them. It's not too bad but something about the ink seems off... I miss the good old days... If you're not familiar with A5, it's a nice balance between standard comic and manga size.
- Be expecting a new Artbook very soon containing 200 pages, 187 of them illustrations from 2002~2011. Once I get the proof copy and all is in order it'll be available for only $30 (thanks to Ka-Blam). The ones on Lulu will be discontinued. Once it's here I'll take photos of it and let you all know it's available.
- I'm going to add a new "Shop" area soon with links to my books and other things.

First I'd like to point out the newest page addition "Cintiq Fund". Even though I didn't originally intend the timing, my birthday IS coming up in a few weeks. To anyone interested, all I ask is for at least $10 to put towards my savings for a Cintiq12 tablet. I have more information on the page here.
In the meantime, here's a peek at what I've been doing. I can't announce what it's related to though since we're still waiting on the publisher's response.

•Putumayo Clothing For Sale•
I believe these are the designs from 2008 or so. The shirt is either from '08 or '09. Suggested size is M/L or smaller. They fit me when I was XL (42inch bust) but it wasn't very comfortable. The long sleeve shirt didn't fit very well at that size. I'm S/M now, so I wouldn't go any larger than M. I took a photo of the tag to show that these are authentic.

Gift-Art for Judy Carroll. I was doodling and I decided to draw him. I
added color since the forehead gem looked odd in black and white
sketch. Hahaha!

In the mean time, here's a WIP.
I'm currently working on a new gallery page that will have all my older artwork and my newer work. Once it's finished, all my new work will be posted there. I'll still use this one to share current news, projects, WIPs and other things I don't really feel fit for the gallery. It'll be I suppose an all-in-one kinda thing. I still need to go through what I've already added to the new one and give captions to some of the images.
